The Old Courthouse Museum occupies the restored 1889 Minnehaha County Courthouse, a Richardsonian Romanesque quartzite building with a 165-foot clock tower. Three floors of free exhibits cover regional history, from railroads to Native American culture, and visitors consistently praise the preserved stained glass, murals, and grand staircase.
